DESCRIPTION:Addressing Surging Populism and Promoting Decolonization throug
 h Gamification\nSession Description:\nThis session will present the gamifi
 cation projects of two student teams from the University in Kärnten (AT) 
 to create diversophy® games exploring two current trends: Populism\, and 
 its political rhetoric\; Decolonization\, providing insights to overcome t
 he residual mindsets of both colonizers and colonized which continue to ge
 nerate bias and inequities. Participants will have the opportunity to samp
 le these games.\n\nSpeaker:\nDr. George Simons is a consultant\, trainer\,
  and university lecturer who has developed the diversophy® series of over
  100 intercultural and social games\, many available in a variety of langu
 ages (www.diversophy.com). With Amna Ben Amara and Lidia Wiśniewska he di
 rected and coached the gaming projects of the two student groups in the sp
 ring semester 2023.
